Why isnt garrys mod loading

Change language. Install Steam. Store Page. Garry's Mod Store Page. Global Achievements. I have verified my game cache, uninstalled a mod causing errors on the loading screen, and reinstalled the game, but whenever I try to load into a SP sandbox map the game freezes on Initializing Resources.

It's not like I'm impatient here, I have waited for almost ten minutes and loading bar didn't move an inch. I also can't leave the game using anything but ctrl alt delete sign out or just turning off the computer. Showing 1 - 15 of 17 comments. Got the same problem, can confirm.

Were you playing sandbox or a custom gamemode? Give us as much information as you can and we might be able to narrow the problem down.

Does it say its running than seconds later closes the game? If that's the case, send me a picture of your cfg file and your launch options. RAM sticks. Ground yourself. Remove RAM stick and clean contacts with an eraser. Reseat RAM stick. Repeat d and e for each RAM stick. Add-on Cards Graphics Sound, etc. Assuming you using an add-on graphics card. If the card is secured to the back of the case with a screw, remove the screw.

Double-check for any additional wires — take pictures and disconnect one end only for preference as needed. Remove and clean contacts with an eraser. Reseat the card. Re-install screw.
