Variety October 22, Kincaid's within a mile of Parma. Sadly, we're crossing Parma off our restaurant list. This was my first time at Parma. I loved the outside patio and the food was delicious. One of the things I liked that some items you could order in a smaller portion. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
To be fair we did a very early dinner as we had a show to go to The food was fine nothing spectacular and the service was fine. No real connections and no extraness to the experience. It's expensive for basic dishes that showed no real depth. Probably is great lunch place and maybe later in the evening it gets some character.
Nice place, a little bit pricey but not bad. Overall a great experience. We had been to Parma a few years back and had a good experience so decided to have a celebration dinner there because it was close by. We were very disappointed and will likely not return. Although we had no complaints with the waitress, who was very attentive, nor the other staff we met, there were problems with cleanliness of the glassware -- we had to send them back as they had dried food all over them.
They comp'd us our corkage fee -- which was nice of them, but it was a little disconcerting as you then become concerned about the cleanliness overall. The menu was fairly uninspired and the food just average -- nothing to write home about. The ambiance was dark and felt dreary.
It felt like you might feel in a place where a few months later they put up an "out of business" sign and everyone kind of knows why. I hope they can pull it together and that our experience was an anomaly. Unfortunately, we won't be back to find out. We went to Parma because the food is good and the ambiance is nice, I just wish the music was a little louder and the main dining lighting a little darker.
We took advantage of the Date Night special and it was well worth the price, taste and portion size were great. My only minor gripe was that although our server was nice, she wasn't very inviting or invested in our table. She did quick "drive-by's" to re-set our silverware and bring drinks. I don't love a server that talks too much but I like when they are sincere about our dining experience.
Had a large group and the service was fantastic! Food very good. The "date night" special is a fantastic deal. Excellent food and service. Friendly staff. Some of the selections on the web site menu had been dropped and ere unavailable. The service and food was outstanding. I highly recommend Parma! Excellent meal, excellent service, and very pleasant table on the patio. Parma is one if our favorites. Because our last experience here was outstanding, I booked reservations for Mother's Day.
My daughter and her family arrived first, and they didn't have our reservations. This was curious becauseI had my open table reservation for and Parma had called us in the afternoon to verify our reservation. The confusion. Nice little Mothers Day brunch action. Excellent flavors. Our family loved this restaurant's Mother's Day brunch. Even on a crazy busy day the service was excellent. Multiple servers brought food simultaneously to our table of 15; served family-style.
Everything was hot and fresh. Plus, special requests for the kids got handled immediately. Everyone at the table agreed the food was great. Pricing was average for a special Sunday brunch.
My husband and I will look forward to coming back for a quiet evening together. Great food! I had gnocchi and it was tender and the sauce didn't overtake the flavor. It is a bit hard to find so call for directions before you come. Parma - Permanently Closed is rated 4. Skip to Main Content. Overview Menu Reviews. The perfectly cooked fish was delicious on its own, but that lemon cream turned it into an indulgence, and the peas tasted like they just came from the garden.
Yep, that good. For all its high points, though, Parma still exhibits a few inconsistencies. With high-quality Italian fare like this, why does it need to include a hamburger on its menu, especially when it already offers a meatball sandwich?
And while a few service slip-ups e.
